It's going to take some getting used to: Orange County is not Manhattan. I grew familiar with the OC ladies' blonde, tan, over-botoxed look. I liked how they socialized with white wine and blended drinks (with straws) in the sun. Without a care for failing careers they drove their motorcycles with abandon, organized "girls' night outs", tatooed their fingers to prove their marital commitment, opted for major plastic surgery. I wondered how, in Orange County, a child is just as likely to to serve a jail sentence as they are to attend college. Gone are the easy going days of Orange County...
And on to the uptight, intense Manhattan approach! So far, Ramona has had her first meltdown, The Countess has had her fragile demeanor shattered, Jill and Bethany have lost their best friends, and Kelly is a psycho-boyfriend-abuser. So much more to follow....
